This is another route commonly used to travel from Bangalore to Ooty. This route takes about 7 hours by car or bus and uses Route 948. The total distance traveled is 180 miles. The main reason people don’t want to take this route is that it takes a little longer than other routes, taking 8-9 hours. It uses National Route 44, and the drive is very pleasant.
